flashing numbers on CD changer in 307

I was someone could help? My CD changer in the peugeot 307 doesn't respond, and the numbers 1-5 are flashing. Does this deserve a trip to the service Dept. or is it a case of pressing a few buttons?

Hello only just read your question so you may have already sorted the problem out ,i have had this problem , player will not play cd's one day and will the next, flashing lights etc , i had my unit changed under warranty this is a common problem with these units and my local peugeot dealer did confirm that they had replaced several of these. According to the manual you are not supposes to play copied cd's in them i thought that that might have been the cause of mine but the same faults occured on originals.

Same happened to me. The problem was fixed under warranty.
