Any poker players?

I'm just curious. I know it's gotten pretty popular and wanted to see how many cardsharks we have on the boards :smile:. I play quite a bit online and when I can for money (usually small buy-in's though). If anyone plays online, I'm online at FullTiltPoker.net with the name TheSwigz.

Last wednesday i took 21st out of 5k in one of their freeroles. Top 27 went to a money tourny, so i kinda quit after it got down to 3 tables. It was 6am and i had been playing for about 5 hours.

I've always wanted to learn, looks like fun

Poker is how I helped pay for my living expenses for a bit of my college career. I cant play online though....I completely suck at it, theres so many people and you cant get a feel for how someone plays. Although it is fun when its for free.

I used to play a lot of cash games with my friends and a lot with practically strangers. We played everything, but my favorite game is defiently 7 card in the dark.

Online play is ridiculously boring.

i play on partpoker.net. only with play money though. you can't read the players like you can in real life. i try and hit the casinos whenever i can, i've only been like 3 times so far. but i play every thursday night with some guys i live with and their friends. usually only like 5 dollar buy ins, but it's fun.

Become a better online player has honestly helped me when i play against people at the casino or in real tournaments. Its all about the feel if your playing online.

7 card in the dark is a fun game.

I don't play online - I need to see people to get a read on them. I'm a decent player. I almost feel bad how often I beat my buddies and I've been in the money in the two local casino's tournaments I've been in.

poker? But I just met her. Yeah I play every so often with friends, I dont realy get into the online games cuz they get dull in a hury.

i play games of all sorts. from poker to texas holdem, to 21, to bs, to war, to well you get the picture. be and 10 buddies put up about 300 bucks to see who could win at risk. (i took second and got 60 bucks out of it... but hey thats 3 weeks w/o having to pull gas money) anything with friends or friends of friends. but my computer sucks so i cant go online.

i don't play online. i play with friends and family.

last year some school friends of mine were addicted. we woud skip class, lunch, school assembly, etc. come back to my room and play texas holdem. now that im a senior and have to get into university i cant really afford to play.

i've never played poker before. a few people have offered to teach me how but insisted upon strip poker. needless to say, i still haven't tried.

Used to play with friends all the time, havent in a while. Cant find anyone up here in Va Bch. PLayed on poker.net, but havent there either in awhile. just play on my phone, no time for anywhere else. although online, im sitting on a several hundred thousand. i wonde rif my account is deleted.

I just BS alot on pokerstars. Im play money rich though, im up to about 2.5 million. Cant wait to goto the casino this weekend.

I was on pokerstars, then went to party poker (which IMO sucks). Looking for a new site now. Play mostly NL, but sometimes normal Hold'em and Pot Limit. Both real money and play money, although the play money seems to attract alot more idiots going all in every hand. I play alot with my friends too.
So anyway, now I'm trying to decide between ultimatebet.net and paradise poker. Any suggestions?

I don't play online. I don't play in person. Very well, anyway. I'm really bad it because I don't do it enough. I've tried to learn and remember, but there are so many variations....

And I'm blonde. (That's just an excuse for anything I can't do...)
