1994 gmc sierra

I own a 1994 gmc sierr and it honestly seems like day in and day out it looses more and more power when i hit the gas or try to burn out. I just put in a new air aid cold air intake system the other day thinking it would help. I dont know what else there is i can do so if anyone has a clue to possibly get my truck alittle more power to the rear wheels it would be greatly appriciated.

When was the last time you gave the truck a full tune up? Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter. Cat could be pluging up causing no or restricted flow at the exhaust.

That was going to be the next thing i tryed i dont honestly know if there was a tune up given to the truck when we bought it but according to my father ther was. so this weekend i was going to get new wires,plugs,distributer,rotor and the fuel pump would b also another thing i will b picking up. IF this dont help out i heard about sum TV Cable?

Do u know of a good - spark plug wire that i should use i was told MSD would b good but if any others please let me know .

The TV cable adjustment affects shifting and line pressures. If it is not adjusted properly, the tranny will start to slip and then it will need a rebuild.

on 94 gmc, the auto trans is either a 4L60E or a 4L80E, and do not have a TV cable anymore, it is a full electronic trans.
at least my 94 has a 4L60e
