Does it happen only when you're driving? or do you also hear it if you turn your wheel when the car isn't moving? If the latter is true, get a friend to sit in the car and turn the steering wheel, with the hood open & engine running, see if you can pinpoint where the sound is coming from.
Basically, if the sound only happens when you're driving, it's probably the suspension and/or driveline. To check the suspension, press down hard on the front & rear quarter panels, to see if they make any noise or if the car bounces more than usual on one side.
