This is a Fujimi kit, its a volkswagen gti votex pokal race kit. This build is going to be built box stock. The suspension doesn't have to be lowered, the stance is the way i want it to look. The thing is the red part on the car is all made of decals, seems like its going to be a pain to put them on, so i'm going to paint the red part of the body instead. Right now the body is painted racing white. Its not polished yet. Here are some pics.

Is it a seperate part on the front spoiler ? what is it made of, it seems white as a metal part would be...? :screwy:

Masked the body and sprayed it tamiya bright red. The decals would've been a total disaster with this kit. The front and hood are next.
I need a little advice since this is my first two tone paint job, seems like there is more red paint than white. It is higher and the line where red and white meet is noticable. Do i sand it down after its done curing and polish it to make it even????????

Carefully knock the ridge down with a 5,000-8,000 grit sandpaper and lots of water!! Then finish with polishes....

Looking good. That is some great masking work you have done.
You mentioned that you are going to build out of the box. The kit has just normal street interior. IMO, it would look better with full stripped out race interior. Look forward to seeing the completed model.
