redline problem will not reach!

ok heres the problem and i hope someone can help me out with it, first off i have a cold air intake,header,no cat,straight pipe exhaust with a hks muffler to finish it up, and a b&m cammand flo fuel pressure regulator and a 50 shot of nitrous, now it is an automatic and im workin towards gettin it swapped to a 5 speed but the damn car will not redline at all! its sounds like the rev limiter stops it at 4 grand but it doesnt make the noise like its the rev limiter cuz it used to make a kind of grinding when it used to hit it but not nemore but but the motor is vtec and vtec is working cuz its slower than shit when its unplugged. its a 94 accord sohc f22b1 thats lowered with the above mods rockin the painted stockers. but i cant figure out what the fuck the problem is with the damn car and why it wont redline i used to could get to 40 in first 70 in second 100 in 3rd and 4th was from there on out but now its 35 1st(if im lucky)65 in second(if im lucky) 95 in 3rd and if im lucky means if it happens to make it slightly over 4 grand but not much at all. someone please help me

You getting any Check Engine lights, or blinking 'S' or 'D4' lights?

nope no codes nothing shows up when u scan it, i did have a code bout 2 weeks ago cuz of a reman distributor but got a new one from honda and the light went off and the code dissapered and the car is in time, but the computer has been reset to see if it would start redlining again but it still does nothing and the tach i got to replace the one that was stickin worked when we took it outa the junk car cuz the car ran and cranked just had no rear end but after i realized it wouldn;t redline in my car we stuck it in another accord and it redlined so sumthin is wrong with sumwhere in me engine tranny w/e but theres no codes showing and no lights

ok well i recently found out from a local honda guru that my cam timing must be retarded thats why it wont redline and the limiter kicks in at 4 grand so im goin to stay after school and put my car on a lift and set the crank to top dead center and then start from the top and pull the timing belt off and reset the cam gear to tpc and put it back together and see what happens.
