Do it your self windshield scratche removal

My friend has two scratches in his windshield from when he turned on his windshield wipers with out the blades Any ideas on how to fix them? Their not deep, but you can just feel them with your nail.

I asked this in another area in cars in general but didn’t get any answers

How to fix it?.... don't do it again? :lol:
