OK I have about 24k on my silverado and decided it was tme to treat my truck ( and myself ) to some new cabin air filters. I went to the local parts store and picked up 2 filters based on their parts computer. The filters came with some decent instructions.....except I can not see where to unclip to get to the filter. I pull the kickpanel down and look all arond and everything seems to be molded together with no screws. I wonder, am I missing something? Any help would be great, my truck is a 2004 LT it does have the climate control if that makes a difference. Am I just looking in the wrong place. Thanks again in advance for the help.

2004 Chevy Truck Silverado 1500 2WD V8-5.3L VIN T Copyright © 2006, ALLDATA 8.80 Page 1 Cabin Air Filter: Service and Repair This Article has been updated by bulletin #PIT3330, dated December 22, 2004. Condition/Concern: A customer may inquire about the availability of the passenger compartment air filter. Recommendation/Instructions: Starting in 2003 model year, the passenger compartment air filter is no longer available as a factory option. With the redesigned HVAC case, there is no longer a cavity for the filter. The GM parts catalog indicates there is a replacement filter available; however, there is no provision for it.
