A few questions?

I'm probably going to get burned for asking this.. I have a 91 q45 great condition...here's the catch, no engine. Is it possible to swap a domestic engine of roughly the same size into this car, and what kind of cost would I be looking at roughly? Do you think it would be more cost effective to replace with a new stock engine from the dealer? I have no idea where to start with this thing. I love the style and feel of sitting in this car, honestly though, it seems so complicated these Japanese engines. What kind of electrical issues would I run into? I'm probably setting myself up for failure here but I have to at least ask. Sorry for the long post.
