Starting Problem

96 contour starts for couple seconds and dies. the things is the car keeps running when i spray starting fluid to air intake. i believe it can be related to a fuel shortage problem. if you have any advice, please respond. thanks in advance

never keep a car running on starting fluid..

can you hear the fuel pump kick on when you turn the key? changed the fuel filter?

Check the fuel pressure bleeder valve and see if your getting fuel pressure.
