title says it all lol
Took my friend for a ride in my TT b/c I just got done working on it and wanted to test drive it with those plat 4 plugs(which btw didn't seem to bad at all). Anyway a green civic flys by me when im turning out onto the main road. I thought I knew the kid, he goes to a nearby school and as in a Honda gang(yes there is a school who actually have a GANG for hondas) so I wanted to play with him. Turn out onto the main road speed up to him and start riding his ass, he speeds up and goes into a development so I follow then he comes out onto a main road and pulls over. We start talking some shit and then i tell him who I am, he knows me, revs his VTECH fart cannon and tries to get a jump on me so I dump it and pass him like its nothing then keep going and slow down, he passes me going about 80 im doing the speed limit going 45. I downshift and pass him going 110 then slow down for the next corner. I didn't rev it any higher than 5500 when I dumped the clutch on the next corner and i felt both my rear wheels break loose and squeal a bit, weird, the only mods I have are exhaust, cold air intake, wires and plugs. Then I was turning into my friends driveway to drop him off and I heard a click and the back wheel hopped for a second. So im going home and the car doesn't have any pick up at all so I take it easy and just try to get home when out of nowhere the car dies. I start it back up and the engine starts making this noise like the fan is turning and hitting something, hazards on I pull into a diner, the car dies again! So I started it up once more and the sound got worse like something broke internally and is jumping around hitting everything so I immediatly shut it off and call for a tow.

So im going to go take the valve cover off and see if I can see what I broke. Any ideas on the rear? I don't know how the back broke loose like that or why it hopped a couple times.

First off...Plat 4 plugs?? Dont tell me they are those 4 prong things?? They are POS's and not worth a dime. Get them out of there before you run the car again.

Your description seems to be all over the place. Start a diagnosis then come back with any new info.

Only reason I have those plugs in is because I got them for free.

Well so far I found out that the coil arcs real bad between I think it was the first and sixth cylinder. Put a new coil in and fixed that problem. Then I had the front valve cover off, started the engine and the sound is a tick like you would hear from the lash adjusters but this sounds like a wrench beating on the motor. I was looking closely at the lash adjusters and they were all spitting out a little oil like they should except three. Could it be that the valves aren't getting oil from those three lash adjusters and that is what is making the ticking sound?

If it sounds that bad, and you have no pickup it could be spun bearing. Ho9ws your oil pressure?

Oil pressure is good, im going to take the heads off sometime this week when I get a chance and check it out. A DOHC engine from a N/A is the same engine in the TT correct? Because if it is im jsut going to swap engines and rebuild this one.

Not really. The DOHC is 10:1, doesnt have oil squirters, and is only a two bolt. I beleive yours would be a 4 bolt. Not that that would stop you from running boost or anything. Its just going to be more difficult to tune and you wont be able to run as much boost.

Yeah if it really sounds that violent, could be a spun bearing.

Also, you said you broke the wheels loose going around a turn, dumping the clutch?

That is normal. If you dump teh clutch at higher rpms from a stop and have your steering wheel cocked sideways, then it is typical for your wheels to break loose and you to slide. This is why you don't dump the clutch unless you want to launch.
