I Just wired my 94 shortbed for trailer wirring. the problem is I cant find any thing in my manuals about how to or which wire I need to tap into the Alternator for my convertor to keep the battery charged. Also in wirring harness in the back where tail, turn, brake there was a white wire seperate that was taped to the harness. If any one could help with the wirring code it would finish this project. 94 Chevy 350 4x4 auto.

The white wire for trailer wiring is usually for ground.
On my 96 there was a blue wire and an orange wire run front to back. The blue is for trailer brakes and the orange for 12v positive feed (usually for travel trailers). The wires are taped up in the wire loom below the fuse block under the hood. Neither end is connected to anything, they just run the wire.
I don't know what the white wire would be, mine didn't have an extra white wire.
