Has anyone else built a renaissense(spelling) 360GT kit? As i have been paid to make a pair of them (pics to come soon) i have found that the clear parts, windows and front lights don't fit in with the resin body. I wish i had tried them earlier but i left them on the sprue so they don't get damaged. The problem is that i have a fortnight to have them finished (11th March) does anyone have a quick fix to get them to go in right?

I have one of this transkit, but didn't worked much on it.
Fitting is often a problem with resin kit. You should sand a bit and use 0.10 styrene to make a better fit. Hope you didn't painted the body yet, test fit is the first thing you NEED to do with resin.

yeah i have painted and decaled the body. i don't exactly keep the cleanest modeling area and things have a habit of either being damaged or lost so i left them on the parts tree in the box. oh well will have to the best i can in the next week.

I have different transkits, mine comes with a complete new body the one out of that only has a new front bumper, this is where i am having troubles as the windows and lights don't fit the new shape ( different curves to the original tamiya body )

Do a search under Steve Gibbins threads, he built a very nice looking Le Mans 360 with the Rennaissance transkit.
Try searching for Ferrari 360 Modena instead, Steve Gibbins doesn't work for some reason.

That's the cheap version. All newer renaissance transkit have full resin body (which have better proportion)
