I own a 2001 Nissan Sentra GXE that was purchased brand new. At the time of the sale of the car I enquired about the service manuals for the car. Nissan wanted $500 and change for the manuals, where I quickly l told them to keep them and I would get something later. Todate I have been looking three years for service manuals from another publisher (chilton preferably). I cannot find them anywhere. In my experience for the Sentra I can get manuals easily up to 1999, but from 2000 on it seems impossible to find anything. I have asked numerous auto part places, Checked out Amazon.com, in addition to looking at some other sites to no avail. Does anyone out there know where I can find a 2001 Nissan Sentra Shop Manual preferably Chilton, (or any other publisher for that matter) that I can purchase from?

dealerships own the rights to their cars for a set period of time before anyone can publish manuals, best bet is to try b15sentra.net and ask kindly if anyone has a FSM you could have them scan and send you for like 10 bucks or something

Yeah I have heard that as well. But what is strange I can get altima, and maxima FSM. I have seen them on the shelf up to 2002. But try to find one for Sentra! I will definately take your advice recommending the manuals on disk option.

The past owner of my sentra must have jacked my manual because I didn't get one with the car. The cheapest I could find one is here http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/nissan/product.asp?dept%5Fid=7&sku=SM1E%2D1B15U2
$315.00 Thats nuts.

You don't get a service manual with the car...
You get a user manual.
