Ive got a 98 cav that Im trying to install a rear strut tower bar. My problem is 2 of the bolts are threaded from under the car. the mounting plate has 3 holes. I removed the nut from inside the trunk and put the plate down but with the way the other 2 bolts are it puts the plate at a weird angle so that the bar doesnt fit between the 2 plates. The kit i bought didnt come with any hardware. It only had basic instructions that said to remove the 3 mounting nuts install the plate and then replace the 3 nuts. Please help!!

you know Ive never even thought of that, I would probably do it the hard way and knock those "nuts" off the top and just find some more actual nuts to replace them with

Well Ive looked around and no answers yet. i dont really want to remove the welded nuts. So Im gonna kill 2 birds with one stone I just bought a rear strut bar for my 04 cavy but this time it is the Ractive one. So hopefully that kit will make things a little more clear seeing as how its name brand.
