This guy is right down the road. The only thing that i am worried about is the milage.

LT1 + 4L60E, 2.93 gearing, limited slip diff, more .. :)

It is pretty high-mileage, and the seller didn't list any pictures of under the hood, so if he's close by you, then by all means go look at it.

You talking about the SPID label on the inside of the deck lid?

Here's a place to go check out the SPID (RPO/SEO) codes -
SPID decoder for 9C1 cars (http://www.capriceclassic.com/spids.html)

Keep in mind that you didn't share with us the SPID label so we can't help you beyond that as of yet.

EDIT - looks like LT1, 4L60E, 3.08:1 gearing, limited slip, etc. Check with the SPID (Service Parts Identification) label above.
