i have a 90 Iroc and have been trying to find someone to build a custom true dual exhaust. So far I have been unsuccessful. More than one exhaust shop has said it is not possible due to the lack of room. But I have seen it done. Does anyone make a dual exhaust for the 90 Iroc. Any ideas?

Duals can and have been done on a third gen without sacrificing ground clearance. You run the pipes in the stock location (2.25" is max), then when you get back to where the stock muffler sits, you use 2 of the long pipe sized mufflers like Summit sells. One pipe goes straight back, turns 90* to the driver side and a muffler is mounted cross wise there and the tip then turns 90* to exit under the rear bumper. The other pipe also turns 90* to the driver side, then 180* and into another muffler sitting cross wise pointing back to the passenger side and another 90* tip to exit under the bumper on that side.
All of those 90* bends and the 180 aren't exactly good for exhaust flow. Just use a 3" single exhaust, it will out flow 2.25" duals anyway.

Do you guys think that i will have max air flow with a 3 inch pipe rather than duals? I'm am going for air flow and sound, louder the better.
