Help!!!!!

I have a 350 with some goodies on it! lol and i just bought ceramic coated headers from dynomax with 3" flange. i was wondering i bought som cut outs and i have true dual were should i place the cutouts? behid the h pipe or behind the headers? i want it to be loud im not really goin for performance i have about 150 puonds of audio equipment in the trunk so...

Camera doesn't really pick up the thump of the exhaust at idle.

don't mean to hijack your thread, but man that video...those open headers, right? they're insane. That's what I want my LT1 to sound like...possible :naughty:?

You are going to have to take my word on this....it was too damned loud.

Luos is right, open headers is too damn loud. I helped rape a 350 in an 85 iroc, for the initial run the car had open headers, you could hear it about 2 miles away under 3/4 throttle. It was insanely loud inside the car, impossible to talk or hear any kind of radio, and attracted all kinds of negative attention ie cops.

damn, aight...i'll take your word for it. Didn't buy audio so i could just drown it out. But I really like that *Loping* sound?? I guess it's called...created by a cam? What would sound good, do you think? I hear borla, is good, Flowmaster/magnaflow, slp loudmouth...but if I want to be heard what's good? cuz my stock rectangular exhaust is just too quiet for me right now. I checked out LS1sounds.com...and I really like the GMMG's but damn...how much are those? like 800?

I have open headers on my LT1 right now and I wouldn't take it any farther than down the road and back... its soooo f'in loud.... sounds sweet at idle though
