It has been discontinued for a few years now. Not extremely rare though.

Not sure what brand you are looking for but there is one on ebay.com right now that is Fujimi. Type in 180 1/24 and it comes up....

what?
if you look at the box, you can clearly see it says "tamiya" on the bottom right hand corner, that's not to mention that he also clearly says that he has won it and later, that he's going to start it.
Do people actually read the threads?

I'm glad that you only paid $12.60, because that's about all that kit's worth.

It shares a chassis and interior tub with the S13K's Silvia kit I reviewed, and the interior of the kit is LOUSY. Shallow, no texture, no side panel detail, and no seat backs.

The chassis has good suspension components, but the molded-in driveshaft and exhaust make performance style modifications a real pain in the ass, especially since it's a curbside kit in the first place.

So that leaves body, but the side skirts and bumpers are molded in place, and the body's thick to boot, making cutting and scratchbashing kits a bear.

Overall, unless you're building a replica stock 180SX with tinted windows, the kit is not really worth the money usually shelled out.

No, he's correct. There is a Fujimi 180SX but I don't want that one.

I didn't think that it was so bad. I still will build another SAS version should I find one at a reasonable price. :grinyes: I didn't really experience any problems with the lowering of the suspension.

I was responding to tonioseven. He wanted one, and I told him that there was one on ebay but it was fujimi. Do you read the thread?

sorry about that.
left-over grief from another forum where too many people keep posting the wrong information over and over again, even though the same question has been answered correctly.

it is a little rare, but a nice model from tamiya, its funny because i picked mine up for about 15 bucks last month. I also got a SAS bodykit for it. Best1hobby still have them, even though chris dicontinued them. Nice find though, took me a while to find mine, im going to build a replica of my buddys. Good luck with yours.
