Firebird to Trans Am Conversion is it possible?

This is probably old news but I know a guy who wrecked his 2000 Trans Am on the rear end and i just bought a 96 firebird and i was gonna buy his if the the front cap was convertible with the 96?

Ive seen it done before. your back lights are different so change them to 98-02 tails are way nicer. You could just take your whole k member out wheels motor trans and role the Trans am k member right into your car youd have the v8 srings shocks and wont have to mess with motor mounts it the best way to do thew swap with a donor car right there for parts. I f I could get a hold of a wrecked car like you couyd that would be what I would do.Pittsburgh seems like no one deals with camars/trans Ams cant find anything. Another thing is I work at a body shop so I might try to fix the wrecked car for cheap. Have 2 cars v6 for daily driver and v8 for sometimes. But a nice thing with doing a swap is the insurence stays the same as the v6.

Is it possible to put a trans am spoiler on a firebird?... or would i need the whole back hacth... if so does any one know of any aftermarket spoilers for this car i cant seem to find any

yea the car was totaled due to the wreck the rear end is demolished the spoiler is sitting behind the buckets so the taillights which i so agree are better looking but their smashed. The car looks brand new if you look at the front and thats all i want to convert, so i guess i'll just try my damndest to make it work. When it's through i'll post pics.
