I was wondering how hard it is to change a filter on a 99 integra, and what the steps are to doing the filter

Pardon me asking, but why is there not a filter?

theres a magnet in manual transmissions to catch debris but there is a filter in an automatic transmission...

it is not a filter. it is a screen. you should not have to never ever have to change the screen. change your tranny fluid. thats all you need to do.

also, if there is a magnet in the tranny, where is it?

There was a magnet on the drain bolt of my '96 Integra (automatic). I don't know of a filter on either transmission, but I think the m/t has a magnet on the drain bolt also.

i know on most honda transmissions, the magnet is located inside the trans right near the shifter assembly
