Possible to modify middle seat on WT?

For some odd reason the middle seat which folds into a arm rest in other models (i thinK) is immobile in the WT model, has anyone succesfully modified it to fold? its held by some strong 3/4 inch tubing from what i can tell, not too sure how I would put a hinge on them......maybe its just easier to buy one of those after market arm rest that u just set on the seat?

if your lucky you can find one to match your truck. keep track of your favorit scrap yard thay will get one in. there crashing trucks all the time.
yoiu can tell the guy who did the desine work on the truck never used one. thay put the cup holders right were the gear shift is. and like it realy works well when you got to get two other guys to the work site and one is sitting on the cup holder.
my thinking is to toss the seat and use the needed space for lunch. my cooler will fit nice there. with a bit of alum I can make a nice radio holder and ad cup holders ware thay are needed.
its funny the first thing i tossed on the dango truck was the only cup holders. If i had the tools i had at my last work, I would strip out the truck and do it right.
get rid of the door speakers and the pockets. with that big a$$ dash i would install a removable cup holder so it can be cleaned easy. redo most of the dash to boot. more than enuff room in the dash for speakers.
the cell phone cant recharge when you got to use 1st gear a lot. the shifter keeps taking out chargers.
the way thay have built the inside of the cab, if thay would of let me have the truck for a week i would of never bought the truck.
when i am behind the wheel of the truck, its bad weather and I am going over 50 miles a way with tools for work. in town the motorcycle works for going to the store.

Yea, I have the same truck and often wonder the same thing. Let me know if you figure anything else out. Poor design if you ask me, but then again, I did buy it even knowing that.

i am heading to just tosing the seat and building a consold to hold he cooler. and radio.
