I am new to this board, but I have read it many times. My power front passenger window will not go down, or up for that matter. I was able to get it to work by pulling the switch out, and holding the wires together, and pushing them against the switch, but that is getting old, and it doesn't help when I'm driving the car by myself. It doesn't work on the master switch either. Do I need to replae the switch itself, or is it the wiring? Does the master switch run through the passenger switch to control the passenger motor? Please help me, I love my car, it is the Third Grand Prix I've owned. It is a 97 GT. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

Yes, the commands for up or down from the master switch go through the passenger side switch and then outputs directly to the motor. The passenger side switch sounds like it has flaky contacts.

Thank you for your response, do you know of a good place where I can find a good one, or of a way that I can fix the one I have? I have looked on Ebay, but all they have are the master window switches.

The local boneyard would probably be the best and most reasonable cost. Also, try Ed Morad Parts Company on EBay. He sells nothing but Grand Prix and GM "W" body parts. If the item is not posted for sale on EBay he will check and see if he has the part. Good luck!
