1996 528i idle

I have a 1996 528i which has sat in the garage unused for a couple of months. When It was started it developed a misfire at idle speed only.Could this be as simple as a fuel pump problem or something more sinister like a bottom end problem?? Any help would be appreciated.

It probabally could just use a set of plugs. Make sure the boots aren't soaked in oil
