Hi everybody
This is a Provence Moulage kit. The car raced at Lemans in 2000.

http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/80332P_2-med.jpg
The original BBS-wheels (on the right side), especially the photoetched spoke-part,
didn't look too good.
So I changed the inner part with one from a sprint43-wheel-set.
With a little bit of cutting it fits perfectly in the PM-ring.
The result looks much better than the original.

http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/80332P_4-med.jpg
The body was primed and sprayed with Tamiya TS26.

I was a bit (in fact very :-) ) worried about placing the big decals so i made a
test run with a photocopy.
So it is possible to see were a cut is needed and the picture can be used as a template.

With the help of microset and -sol the first decals were placed.

Hope you like it so far, more to follow - Oliver

Nice looking build! Like the tip with the decals, although I have to say you should be OK with PM decals, I've done several of their kit's with complex decals in them and find they are some of the nicest available to work with. Good find on the replacement wheels as well, I've just started the PM Panoz LMP07 from Le Mans 2001 and was looking for a good set as the kit ones are disapointing. Looking forward to seeing this one completed.

Progress: I've put all the decals on the body. As lotus_man said, they fit very well and reacted good with microset and -sol. Only the dragon on the right side needed to be cut in 3 parts.
The black parts are covered with cf-decals from bbr - not icluded in the kit. On the frontspoiler i gave up. After the first layer over clear this will be sprayed black.

Very nice 1/43, looks like a 1/24.
I have some 1/43 resin and plastic models to build, I hope to learn something with you.

Carlos Jorge

It's finally finished. The only addition beside the wheels
were some aluminium-tubes for the exhausts.

Fantastic looking Panoz! The crispness and detail of the build is astonishing for 1/43rd. I too would have picked it for 1/24th given the final pics.
