Hello

I was wondering if there was a was to test a crank sensor (like an ohm spec) to see if it is good or not.

Its on a 1994 bonne 3800

Welcome to AF!!

If you are having problems with the car starting or stalling don't waste time checking it just go ahead and replace it. If you aren't having any problems then don't worry about testing it. The manual I have doesn't give any testing criteria for the CPS.

ok thanks a lot i was also wondering if i had to take the harmonic balancer off to take it off or can i get at the bolts with it on i havent looked at it yet thanks

Check autozone.com/repairinfo for decent instructions.

You will need to remove the harmonic balancer. The center bolt is the hardest part so I suggest an impact wrench. The advice that Maxwedge gave is good as they give detailed instructions.
