i just got promoted, big-time to vice president of marketing/public relations at the agency i work for. which means, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

sadly though (for you guys anyway), my time here won't be as frequent, as if it's not frequent to begin with :rolleyes:. with the new job comes a LOT more responsibility and more work. but you should see how much more money i'll be rakin in. finally, i can eat at mcdonald's and have change for the cafeteria at jewel. :rolleyes: :D

Del, I didn't mean to sound unhappy for your promotion, it sounds like you really are looking forward to it!

Where I work (30 years now) they asked all us oldtimers last year if anyone wanted to become a supervisor and everybody turned it down, we work in a different enviroment now, owned by a Texas company whose only bottom line is profits. Safety is no longer number 1 like it used to be, it's only profits, profits, profits. We call the new generation of supervisors "YES MEN". The old management team looked out for their subordinates because with productive subordinates, the manager looks good. Now the management team just looks for widgets/hour. Just venting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
