need help quickly (brake/door ajar problem)

ok so me and a friend decided to do a tune up on his 91 crx 1.5 liter, so we did the spark plugs and wires and we replaced the his battery terminals with gold ones and replaced his exhaust manifold gasket, the car runs amazingly better now, but the only thing is we have this one issue and that is.

when he steps on the brakes his door ajar/seat belt lights light up and the car beeps at him telling him the doors open, when we were hooking up the terminals again on the battery we heard a little pop, im thinking this is the fuse but im not to sure where i should follow the wiring harness or look for the fuse that blown.

any ideas guys because were completely stumped on that right now and his car is dangerous since his brake lights dont light up, only his door ajar lights light up when he presses the brakes.


i searched the forum for help on this topic but theres absolutely nothing, its sapposably something in the harness but im never gonna find it at this rate, any ideas where i should start guys?

we fixed it ...well i did lol

it consisted of pulling apart the entire fuse box panel and just re plugging everything back in, it had a surge of some sort
