96 contour for the guys that know about codes

back again with the 96 contour with the 2.0L dohc project.i checked the codes and i am getting a p0141 and a p1401, i believe they are egr and o2 sensor codes but i would like to verify and find out if they would effect the car's idling.

You are correct...sort of. The O2 code is specific to the sensor listed below and the EGR code is not the valve itself but rather the DPFE sensor - which is one of the two electronic controls in the EGR system.

P0141 - Downstream Heated Oxygen Sensor circuit failure - Bank No. 1

P1401 - Differential(Delta) Pressure Feedback Electronic Sensor - aka DPFE sensor -circuit High Voltage---- 86 bucks from the dealer - very common.
