When i take out the MAF sensor no effect at all....Im gonna plug in the OBD II tomorrow and get the code and look it up.....before doing so do you guys have an idea what it could be. Thanks in advance!

Sounds like the ECu thinks there is more air coming in that there actually is... so its adding more fuel to the mix, which will then make your idle high and if it's too rich, run like shit. Could be MAP, MAF, or the MAS (I dont think you have one). Let us know what the code comes back as.

Are you saying when you unplug your MAS there is no change? If that's the case, then it's probably the MAS. Or did you throw a code because you unclipped the MAS? You will throw 3 separate codes if you unplug the mas wires harness. It's possible a MAJOR boost leak, like some of your pipes have a gaping hole in them that is releasing metered air and so you run really rich. Are you venting your BOV? If you are, return that to the way it came stock. More info would be beneficial.

If nothing changes when you take the mas out then thats probably your problem, however if you just tried it at idle you probably wouldn't notice a difference, my car idled the same with out without it, I didn't notice it was unplugged until I got to the 2500-3500 rpm range where it would studder.

If you're getting a cel it could be causing the engine to run on closed circuit depending on the cel. Get that figured out then if it's still doing the same thing then it's likely to be the maf

Hey guys sorry it took so long. I went saturday to get my car from the parking lot and i noticed my Palm was with no power. So i got new batteries, but all software was gone. I couldnt put the OBD II software because i forgot my synch software at my parents. Fortunately enough i was able to go to autozone and the code p0100 came up. Does this mean anything to anyone?

NVM the almighty power of google revealed that it is mass air flow or volume air meter malfunction. So now that i know, what do i do? Just buy a new one?
Also, is it okay to drive the car while under these conditions because i still need it for school and such.

I would only drve when absolutely necessary, check the classified on dsmtuners.com and try to get a used one and try that, or if your lucky you can get one from a junkyard. They're really pricey new...

But it only says the circuit malfunction....should i just replace the whole thing or try to fix it?

I'd say try to fix it but I doubt there is any way to fix it. Try to find a cheap used maf and test it out...
