91 vats bypass?

hi guys ive got a 91 camaro z28 with the vats system, my problem is i completly lost the keys to my car , gone!, i want to bypass the system but i dont have the key to test the resistance on so how do i do it? can i just get a new key made from the dealer with my vin # , how much does that cost does anyone have any idea let me know guys thanks a lot:banghead:
