Rover '88 only goes in reverse

Broken gearbox????

When my gearbox was going in the coupe turbo it made one heck of a knock in reverse casued by the main shaft being fractured.

Thanks, Pete, but this is an older one, so I think different. Thanks anyway. I'll keep trying!!
