lift kits

a friend of mine has a 92 ford f 150, and he is looking to lift it using a kit, anyone have any experience with this or have any suggestions on where he could look or what brand he should look for?

also ive heard of reversing the placement of the leaf springs from bottom of the diff to above. (and input here toowould be appreciated)
