1995 civic

Car Starts then shuts right off, then sometimes its hard to start and sometimes its not.
Could this be the fuel pump?

check fuel, spark, and timing.

sounds exactly like what my fuel pump did, its a quick fix maybe 3 or four hours max. advance auto has them for about 80 bucks. i would check everything else out first though. i put about 600 into my civic last year to keep mine running just to find out it was the fuel pump. definately check everything else though
