remember, u pay for what you get.. if its just for sound and not performance, sure those ebays will do you what u want. gettin a cat-back will give you power and non ricey sound depending on the brand. if its just a once and awhile thing, you could get exhause cut-out, but since you car is so new i think it might void your warrenty. if u have the cash gt a full cat-back system. just my .02 cents

stromung catback sounds the best but is also most expensive, on our cars you pretty much go by sound, none of them add any real power

Try www.horsepowerfreaks.com
You're only gonna find cat-back sections tho. You'll need hit your local exhaust shop to find a hi-flow cat for you and make a custom mandrel-bent downpipe.
Also, you have the 1.6 motor. Get 2.25" piping, not 2.5".

either a dirtbike or a farting weed wacker. or a dirtbike with a barry white complex. who cares about sound. if you cared about how much your car sounded tight, you woulda bought a 67 camaro

with a header you can probably see about 15+bhp / 10whp...supposedly just the addition of a header that doesn't have a pre-cat (none of them do except one version of the nismo) will add about 10whp...and I imagine the increase flow would be greatly helped by a decent cat-back
I'm putting my money into a stromung...I want a pure OEM look, with a little more power and a higher quality finish on the exhaust tips

hotshot makes a catless header, and 15 of the 15 whp your talking about comes from the header, on the spec v which is a high displacement motor exhaust only adds 2-5 whp at the very most, on a 1.6 you'll barely see 2.......

Yeah, the Hotshot header gets you 12WHP from an SR20DE. Yes, WHEEL horses.

basicly the point is exhaust adds less power than driving with your AC off.......buy one that sounds good and is cheap, or you could go with a custom job with 2.5 or 2.25 thick walled piping and a lot of resonator, then you'll sound good and it will add about the same power

meeh...hotshot sounds like the way to go for headers...exhaust, if u really wanna sound muscle-car-ish...get a cut out. its not gonna be open 24/7, but open when u need it most. sounds intimidating if u ask me and helps with horsepower as well

Your actually wrong about the 1.6L engine. On Kojima's Garage, they dyno tested 2" exhaust for the Sentra to give 7WHP. This is a mandrel bend, the only kind of exhaust you should pay for, since crush is too restrictive. And for a 1.6, you do not want to go above 2", again this has been dyno proven to be the best size for our car, though 2.25 would not be terrible, just a bit less bottom end.

guess i didnt think about the 1.6 revving higher, 2" wouldnt be so bad and hopefully wouldnt make to much of a bumblebee sound

I personally have a stock exhaust (college is a terrible thing) but my buddy has an exhaust and as long as you have a nice resonator it can sound pretty decent....well as long as you don't put on a stupid 4" tip.

2" piping should sound pretty good still. The larger the piping size, the worse it will sound.
