Really Fast Question (CRX)

Hey everyone, I hate asking a question like this cause its not worth a thread. Anyways:

I can't seem to find what the STOCK length of CRX springs are?

I'm guessing 8 inches? The reason I ask is I'm buying springs not as a kit and I want to lower my 89 CRX DX down 1"-1.5", so I need to know what the intial length is in order to make the ride hight correct. Thanks.

do you mean the spring itself or the ride hight?

Spring rates and stiffness will play a factor as well, a spring of equal length that is softer will sit lower....

its true. but when you look at the disciption of the spring it should tell you how much of a drop you will get.

Oh I didn't think the spring rate would affect the ride height. I was looking for the actual spring length, not a spring based on a certain ride height.

Basically I'm trying to put 10kg/mm front and 8kg/mm in the rear (thats 560FR/448RE in lbs/in) with an equal drop of about an inch (not trying to dramatically lower, but still harness some lower center).
