Why In Hell Would You Want To Take Out A German Engine And Swap It With A Vette Engine... If You Own A 944, You Don't Deserve To Drive It..

It isn't like desecrating some super rare special edition model. If I still owned a 944 and the engine grenaded, I'd consider it too, especially for what it would cost to replace the Porsche motor.
Edited for one last thought:
Deserve? Who decides what a person "deserves" Does a person who buys a car as a fashion accessory deserve the car (ie Porsche)? Who cares, it keeps the company afloat so that they can continue to do business and develop new poducts so that one day when I can afford to I will go to the Porsche dealer and order the one that I want to keep forever.

That is a totally different subject if the Porsche engine went sour, then of course, no way replace it with a Porsche engine.... If you want to really appreciate a Porsche go to Stuttgart , Germany to the headquarters... Take a tour of the factory, then we can really talk Porsche ( I've been there and done that, I think you would really enjoy it yourself.. ) I would just never out of a wim, take a good Porsche engine and swap it for a Vette engine... I'm sure you would not either...

Good for you going to Germany and all, but I don't know why else that's relevant. I'm not going to get into a penis comparison arguement with you. Honestly, it isn't much different from supercharging or turbocharging an engine that wasn't designed that way. Operating under the assumption that Porsche, or any car manufacturer is perfect, is a dead end train of thought.
If you disagree, that's your business, but my hat is off to anyone who wants to try it themselves.

Lets face it, if you have a 944 and want to go fast you need to lose the motor. Unless you have a 951. Way not an LS1? I don’t think people realize how sophisticated the LS1 is. This isn’t just some carb'd chunk of metal. However if it was me I would consider swapping in a rotary engine from an FD RX-7 turbo...:naughty: But im just saving for a 951 so it dosnt matter much:grinyes:
