...well, at least partially. :grinyes: This evening I started the conversion to the Strutmasters(r) springs and new struts on my 96 Conti w/90.8k mi at about 6:00 p.m. and broke for supper at 8:00 with the right side in, but not completely finished. I then started the left side at about 8:40. I had to quit so the wife could bathe one child while I watched the other--we have a 2 month old and a 2 year old. Whew! Anyway, I couldn't go back to work until about 11:00, and I finished at about 1:30 on the other side. Not bad, eh?:) I couldn't believe the difference! No popping when turning--used to be on the left side especially. On test drive, the ride was a bit siffer, but overall, it wasn't too bad. The compressor didn't kick on one time while driving--even for the rear end, so I know that the front two were the problem. I'll tackle the rear in a few weeks!
Oh, BTW, one correction to the directions that were sent to me. The solenoid is supposed to be turned "counterclockwise" when being removed. The directions say "clockwise." Anyway, I figured it out. The new struts were a pain in the derrier to get into the hub. I liked to never have gotten the left side in. What a pain!:disappoin
I'm convinced this is the way to go--at least for now! :iceslolan

Good for you Kenn :)
Sounds like you're going to enjoy the strutmasters even more since you're doing them yourself. I spent the weekend under my hood too, but that's another story.
CONGRATULATIONS !!! Keep the updates coming :)
