:grinyes: ok whats up everyone. i am 16 years old and ive had my license since september of last year. back in middle school i taught myself how to drive my dads 95 ford escort 5 spd, and now and then i would drive through the neighborhood. this continued all the way up until one DAY!! i was coming home for lunch with 2 friends, and i decided to get some gas for the bronco2 to drive around the block. so i took off, driving perfect the whole time! however i was 2 small blocks away from the corner and all of a sudden i heard a motorcycle behind me and i didnt even look behind because i already knew what happened. i pulled into the gas station and BOOM! cop points at me:uhoh: ! he comes up to the window and explains that hes pulled me over because of a cracked windsheild, and then asked for my license. i told him i didnt have one at all. he ended up being very suprised (i was 15). anyway i was very polite, but the car was impounded and we were transported back to school via fresno PD. i ended up going to court, and unbeleivably got my license when i turned 16, with 2 hours of a drunk driving class:banghead: (i was really drinking!?!?!). the cop never recorded the people in the car. anyway those were the stupid days, now i have moved on to the STUPID-ER days, anyway c ya peeps.

That's one thing I don't get they love to hand out AA sessions to people. Some guy gets .10 on a Saturday night and they send him to a drunks class. I never get that. Most people who get DUI's aren't alcoholics unless they are repeat offenders.
BTW, I used to drive on the back roads with my parents a little bit when I was 14.

I drove backroads in my Dad's car at 14, too.
I drove dirt bikes on back roads since I was 10.
Still do, 30 years later, obviously with a car licence, but no motorcycle licence, no plates, no insurance, etc.

When I was 13/14/15 my Grandma had me drive her around town whenever we came to visit. When my mom found out she freaked out, and my grandma was surprised, as she thought I was atleast 16 (mixing up me with my brother). I got in a lot of trouble for that.
