Sorry if this doesn't belong here, but I know a lot of people build Enzo's and might be interested.

so...the first link says that it was going 100mph, the second said it was going 120mph, and the ktla said that it was going over 200mph, not to mention the infamous 16valve V8 and the fact the other stories said that there was only one guy waiting by the car. ktla said there was two guys, and neither one claimed to be the driver? also, one guy had a bloody mouth and only one of the air bags had blood on it...sounds like this may be a pretty easily solved investigation.

Yeah, and I kind of doubt that they were going 200 mph. Over 100, definetely, but 200 is probably not even possible up hill like that.

$2-3000 a month if you've got a good record. But if you can afford to buy a million dollar car $3000 a month is pocket change.

i don't think it was a kit car. the engine looks real enough. plus it wouldn't have made the news as much as it did...i wouldn't think..

Had that been a kit car no one would have survived. If you are going to pay a million bucks for a car you get one hell of an impressive safety system. It shows they were moving along in the vicinity of 120 mph, look how far the motor slid.

Brooks said the area is not known for street racing.
"We get some speed violations, but nothing over 70 mph," Brooks said.

The car was driven...err....passengered by Stefan Eriksson. Former executive of bankrupt hand-held game company, who resigned after news of him being involved with the Swedish Mafia. He owns a black enzo as well, and from the information I've come across the VIN on this car came back as the Black Enzo. It was also in the process of being repossed by the Bank of Scotland. Also, the speed has been reported b/w 120 and 150mph, but more than likely closer to the 150 side.

"He told investigators that the car was being driven by a German acquaintance he knew only as Dietrich. Sgt Philips said: "We found it surprising that you don't know the name of the guy driving your million-dollar car."
haha, this guy sucks at lying...and what the hell are you going to do with 3 SLR Mclaren's? this guy has no imagination if he has to buy 3 of the same car.
and one more thing...driving your enzo ferrari while drunk?!? how stupid can you possibly be. it's a shame he survived the crash.
