First off let me say thanks for helping me with my AC problem. But now I am haveing a problem with my tail lights. My brake and trun signals work but my running and licence plate lights no longer work. They just stoped working yesterday the fuse is fine and all the conections are fine and the bulbes are good. I need help. I don't have the money to take this to the shop and i need to drive my truck. Any imput would be most helpful. Thank you

check your wiring to the parking and license plate lights. the stop /turn and parking lights are two diferent circuits. ti think it is the brown wire

It is the brown wire for the tail and license plate lights, do you know if these lights are run through the hazard light switch? Because my switch does not work for them. is there any conection?

No, Hazard lights run through the turn signal and brake light circuits.

I don't know if this is the cause of your problem but there is a ground wire on the inside of the frame rail at the back of the truck on both sides. The frame will rust behind these conections and cause them to loose ground. Take them loose and clean them up good then reinstall.

I am pretty sure that if the connection on the back of the drivers side was bad then you would have no fuel pump or any other lights for that matter. your radio and things of that type would work but that is all. I had a loose connection and i thought my fuel pump was going out so i bought a new one and happened to tug on some wires and found the connection was loose. What a waste of $300 bucks!
