My first race

Ralliart 3000gt

I was 15-16 at the time and couldn't drive. had only been driving for about 3 months learning from my dad in his Mitsubishi GTO TT. I had never exceeded 100kph in my life.....

My dads away on business and I thought I would rent the Fast and the Furiouse Movie, after watching that movie I thought I would go to town and return it. any way there was my Mountain bike in the shed right next to my dads Mitsubishi GTO. I couldn't get the images of vin in his rx7 racing the Mitsi eclips out of my head.

I take the GTO keys from inside the house and decide to drive to town for the first time ever by myself.....

While driving I was stoked to see a Supra. I pull up next to him and rev my engine. He has his windows down. I look over and could'nt beleive my eyes. The guy in this car looked about 13.

He revs his car I red line in first (not launching at all) he takes off also. I'm going about 50kph, I mash it into second and hit 4000rpm @ about 65kph we are side to side I shift to 3rd where my RPM drops of and slowly take it to 100kph (60mph, which at the time felt bloody fast) in the midle of town constantly pulling on him from the 60kph mark. and pretty much scared myself.....lol.

I jam on the brakes making a big deal of the situation. and park up......

Any way at the end of the race I had pulled about 4 cars on this guy and was bloody happy that I bet a supra especially since the supra was the ultimate car in Fast and the Furiouse.

He had a look of disbalief on his face as he past me to turn off.

All I could think about was getting home.

Driving down my street I'm releived that I didn't crash the car and then bam WTF. I get out of the car to see what I hit. F#@$ the nabours dog. they saw every thing. my front bumper has a crack and is all bloody. I didn't sleep that night.

and once my dad found out nor the nights following for the next year until I paid for the damage and more.......

Did I remember to return the tape??....No

Those were the days....

I live my life a 1/4 Mile at a time....

My first race involved me and a fiesty old lady in a Volvo...she never saw it coming.

Anyway, DUIOFF is a crime. The next time you Drive Under the Influence of Fast and the Furious, you deserve to be jailed.

Jack off, don't DUIOFF

Its just a bit... fake. Anyways, my first race was my old 1.6 geo metro(tracker motor) vs. a friends '98 civic ex. He went down pretty bad.

Fake??

Its all true.

The speed between gear shifts are probably inacurate, but I did hit around 60mph in town....

poor dog...hahahaha

My first race was my 67 200ci stang vs red's 350 nova.

I took him off the line cuz he burned out, and my stang kinda....lurched to victory! Which was quickly destroyed by the nova blowing by

First random street encounter was in my 79 Trans Am. First night having it im at a light, and a red civic hatch rolls up, loud music bumpin...dude keeps looking over and back to the road fast...like he did it 5 times before I even looked over. I was all WTF??? And when the light went green he launched. I didnt expect it, but I yammerd on the dirty bird and got up to him quick...and left him just as quick. We did this like...4 more times before I stoped at the WOW store ...good stuff man

Trans am = :ylsuper:

You scared yourself shitless doing 30? I mean, yeah, I learned how to drive in Texas, where you need to travel at least 10 over the limit everywhere to not get pulled over for impeading the flow of traffic, but shit. Good kill on both dogs. And you had been driving for what? A few weeks and started racing? Man, its reading things like these that just offer further proof that Darwin was wrong.

how do you "slowly take it to 100kph" and then claim to be racing?

You're such an idiot.

The look of disbelief would have been from the thought "what is such an idiot doing in such a nice car"

And yes, I'm jealous.:smooch:

jeez...its open season on this guy

hahahaha, have u seen his posts?

He drives illegally into town, thinks he raced a supra, hits (maybe kills) his neighbours dog and....i think that's all that needs to be said.

First off, this just sounds very thin. Was Vin Diesel and Paul Walker in the Supra? Did you tell them that your car was more than they could afford, Mitsubishi! I just don't believe that a stock GTO is going to take a Supra by four cars unless it wasn't a turbo model. Also, the Charger was the ultimate car from The Fast and the Furious not the Supra. Then you hit your neighbors dog, cracked the bumper, and your dad didn't have your ass in a sling? The rest of the story just isn't very believable either, but then again, maybe you're just not a good story teller.

Those were the days....

Those were the days huh? Way back in 2001, a whole four years ago.

Wow.. if I saw you hit my dog you wouldn't get back to your computer to type about it.

Btw, how did you get the movie in the first place?

Second, your dad was away on business? He just left a 15 year old kid home alone for a few days?

Third, in one of your other posts you said your dad drives a Hyundai. Now he has a 3kGT?

What do you expect? You post a story about how you
A) enjoyed F&F :disappoin
B) stole your dad's car, probably without even a license :slap:
C) raced in town (your first time in the car) :thumbsdow
D) hit a FREAKING DOG :twak:

All of this, after half the forum already thinks 90% of what you say is dubious at best. You endanger yourself, everyone around you, your dad's beautiful car, and then hit a FREAKING DOG...and you want...what?...."congrats, nice kill on the Supra!" :bigthumb:

And lastly, you go on to talk poorly about other people's cars? When, it is painstakingly obvious, that you:

A) KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about your car, except what is published in some magazine report about it years ago

and

B) probably had it payed for by your dear old daddy...as you claimed this is your 2nd GTO, and that it has over $120k in parts.

Some of us actually paid for our own cars, and work on our own cars, and can tell you about them in more detail then simply spouting off the same ambiguous mod list over and over and over again. So instead of getting mad and tossing around insults, why not pause and ponder why you have little credibility...

You make it sound like I just did it, this happend a few years ago mate and if I wanted to go back to my computer and type it then you would have probably ended up in the same condition as your dog if you tryed to stop me...

now that we have that strait....

Yea I've been left alone at age 15 up, actually I was probably more like 16 then. why do you need your perents at home. Every thing was provided....

You do know its legal/possible for a person to own more than one car. He had the Hyndai for work and used the 3kgt for every thing else.....

That 3kgt was also the same car that I bought, moded, and traded in for this Ralliart spec last year.....

That is funny if you think you at little ol' 15 woulda messed me up.

Your dad can't be too bright then if he teaches a terrible driver like yourself on a 3kGT instead of a hyundai.

And you traded a lightly modded 3kGT for one that has "over 120,000 in parts"? Not to mention since the "ralliart" was previously owned, how do you "trade-in" to a private seller.

Ralliart 3000gt
02-23-2006, 09:47 PM
Tearible driver like myself...lol thats funny, I'd whip your ass in a race.....

What do you think a trade in is??? not a swap, It just took some of the totall

The original owner Peter Lawn sold the car through a car company.....who in turn negotiated the trade in.....

Yeah, but even if you won you'd probably still slam into a tree or something.

Hmm.. and I suppose you made up the difference with a paper route and mowing lawns?

Get a car that's not imaginary then come back.
