hey guys and or ladys um i recently just bought a 94 camaro z28 and its running great it has full exhast and 373 gears and a functional ram air hood. But the other day it started to run really sluggish and when i was sittin at a light it would bog out and almost stall. it has lost all its power and when i get on it, it barely moves. me and my buddy took it out for a ride today and as soon as i hit second through 6th gear it bogs and like misses. we have checked the fuel pressuer and the fuel pump and fuel filter. But as we looked further in to it we found a spark plug wire sittin on the header and it burned through it but we fixed it and still no luck. i really need help guys, thanx.
how was the fuel pressuer? and check all the wires, i would replace them all one might be bad. and is there a check engine light on?
there is no check engine light on and the fuel pressure read between 41 and 47 just like it should have
no man the that is the fuel pump still running it perfectly normal
really it has happened to u before like it runes for a sec and then it just bogs out and it like soutters at first we thought clutch but the motor seems like it doesnt want to rise in rpm
do u think that it just isint settin off enough spark and do u think it may even be the coil? i have also heard that the water pump in this year car would leak down into the distributer cap and cause it to foul. but what do u think my best bet would be? and i forgot to mention, the car did sit for 2 years
yea i will def check wires but when the car gets hott too it just shuts offf i had an actuall chevy dude come up and he had no clue but it would just shut off and when u go to start it back up it wouldnt it would sort of start and run like hell then shut off again. but if u waited like 5 min u can crank it back over. the spark plugs and spark plug wires could be the cause of sluggishness and boging?
i just bought the car and when it gets hott it shuts off. and when u go to start it back up it wont it will sorta like crank over then it will like clunk and shut off. but if u wait like 5 min it will start up no problem? i really need help

My best guess is you have more than one burnt wire, its happened to me before with the same results

go and buy some wires from a parts store, and if that is not it, you can take them back and get your money. But i bet that is what it is if one got burnt already. and you might want to invest in some stuff to wrap over the wires so they wont get burnt any more if the touch the headers.

well now you tell us,lol. Like i said above check spark on all of the wires. You could probly use soem new wires any ways so just go ahead and buy them. And then if that does not work we will go from there. That has the optic spark on it which is like $250 or someting to replace.

well my 95z28 did the same thing when the fuel pump went out. but the pressure is ok so. go ahead and do the wires and post back and let us know.
