This may be a stupid question.

But what is all data? Like a tech manual?

It's like a computer service manual/specs chart/diagram program. It's what alot of repair shops use in their shops.

All data is basically on on line version of a Mitchel/Haynes repair manual and it is god if you have anything you need to find out. Detailed diagrams of everything and locations and procedures etc. I have access to it also.

We have that for our school too. Its nice, very informative, and you can get any procedure for anything. The only downside: its expensive as hell. I thought my teacher said it was like $50 a month to have access to plus some entrance fee. I just got a Haynes manual an refer to that and come here with questions.

Yeah my auto teacher last year said it's like $300 for the discs and stuff and then like $50 some a month, that's a bit much for my personal use.

I have a question. On my datalogger, the CEL section tells me that the CEL is on, but it won't give me the codes. What's up with that? It does nothing. It also doesn't clear the CEL when I tell it to. Is something wrong with a procerdural?

Try clearing them by disconnecting the battery and then log again and see if it comes back.

I like all data a bit more than Mitchell. IMO I just think all data is a little better laid out

You can get all data on autozone.com for like $25 a car. I think it's a one time thing, you don't actually get it though only access online.

All data and Mitchell On Demand are two of the best auto repair programs.
You can get them on line or install them on a pc from cd disks.
Both follow and a copy the factory repair manuals.
The only thing better on them is the tsb bullitions are keep up to date.
The full programs run a repair shop about 150 to 175 $ a mo. school and instutions get a better deal but still expensive.
All Data is owned by auto zone and has a single car DIY repair info online sub for 24.95$ a year and 1/2 price for second car.
I use Mitchell On demand that is now mostly owned by Snap on tool Corp.
It lacks some of the finer details that All data has but has better wiring diaghrams. Besides I got a better deal on it. I bought a lifetime sub from Mitchell before snap on got there hands on it.
Here is a link to All Data sight where you can preview some stuff on maybe look at the demo disk.
