Is there an easy way to check codes? It seems to have an ODB I like my Lumina, and I can check the Lumina's codes with a paperclip. Can this be done the same with the Surburban? The connector looks the same, but has about 3 holes that have metal in them, where my Lumina doesn't. Anyone know? Thanks!

Must be transitional obd11, if so you will need a real scanner to do this.

If this does not work, then you will need a OBDII code reader (like maxwedge said). I have read that some of the late 95 models were actually OBDII but had OBDI connectors.

Thanks for the link! Just wondering if jumpering the A&B terminals could damage anything if it does not work.. I just don't want to fry the computer or something else.

A is ground and B is the test terminal. This fill not fry your computer. If you have ever had your Suburban Smog'd, when they hook up the scanner, A is connected to B.
