SES reset procedure?

OK....Popped a code saying that my gas cap was shot. Replaced it with a new Stant cap and made sure that it was on properly (click click). After about 150 miles of driving the SES is still on. No other codes popped. Owner's manual says that it *should* reset itself on it's own. Thoughts?

It will reset on its own after a specific number of restarts or you can have someone with a scan tool reset it.

Disconnecting the battery will usually reset the computer as well.
