2000 3.8L (190 hp) V6 Mustang. This car is has a manual transmission. Mods include:

CAI
Magnaflow Catback

In a straight line, who has the edge? Anyone know the specs of this car, I beleive it is 190 hp?

4.10s = torgque multiplication.

Torque = motion. So long as you don't break the tires loose and just sit there smok'n, somebody's gonna get a nice view of the rear bumper on a camaro.

Those Ford 3.8's really suck.. you should not have a problem wooping him.

at the crank he is pushing 300hp. you have to figure 20-30% is lost by the time it gets to the wheels

haven't been to a dyno, but i've had several people give me a range of 375 to 425... not sure, but i've beat cars that are rated at 400 and 405 hp so i think that range is pretty good...

a stock buick 3800 series II is 200 HP and 225 TQ but understand that the ford 3.8, no matter what its power rating is, is a complete friggin dog.

I'm waiting on my chip from PCMforless. I got the gears done yesterday, but I can't light her up until I fix the speedo and shift point issues. The chip should be here tomorrow!

Thats a sweet deal right there. I have heard a few people getting similiar but way too many paying 3 times thats.

damn that is a deal...ya i was quoted 400 just for the damn labor...

i was quoted 120 for gears and $50 an hour for labor.
