Problem with friends 97 sphyder gs-t

he can be going down the road and floor it, but whenever u open it to full throttle and get to higher rpms it it acts like the motor cuts off completely, just for like a split second. its like the motor looses all power. its stock becides a greedy type-s bov and intake. so i don't think it would be fuel cut what could be the problem.

Rephrase and reword your question. Is it auto or stick?

Check the plugs and wires. I know a guy that had a GST that would cut out sometimes at high rpms. Changed plugs and wires and have never seen the problem again.
