H22 into a 91 HB! Have fun putting it in, this is NOT an easy swap. If you want to do the H22 without a lot of trouble, get a 90+ accord, they swap in easier. But if you still want a hatch, may I recommend a 96+ civic. I have seen a guy in town with an H22 in a 92-95, but it was a pain in the ass, and costed hella more money than he though it would.

The easiest car to swap an H22 engine into is a 90+ accord because the accord already has a similar sized engine, so you dont have to "make room"

I already have the 91 civic but I was just looking at swaps! I think I am going with the B18C!! is that easier?

Ok the swap is not that bad however there is a catch to it right now the only company that makes mounts is Place racing there mounts are first of all not strong enough for the H22 so they break and second the mounts place the engine at an odd angle throwing off your handling.

Now a couple of weeks ago I talked to the guys at Hasport about H22 mounts for the 88/91 CRX/Civic now the good news is they are working on a kit its in prototype now notice I used the word KIT there. That’s because it’s going to be a full kit

Mounts
Extra supports
New cross members
Hood
Axles
Wire harness

Every thing you will need but the engine it’s self
Now the bad news it’s still in prototype and is not expected to be out for 6 months or longer. Is it worth the wait IMO yes it is
