GST v. SE-R, lol

This took place the night before I sold my GST. I had evo III 16g with supporting mods and etc. The SE-R had intake and humungous rims.
I had just gotten off work and was in the "driving fast mood" since I knew someone was comming the next evening to purchase my belovid GST Eclipse. The only other person on the road was this doosh in an SE-R that drives like a madman. We pull up to the stopsign and he doesn't appear to be in the racing mood so we both just slowly proceed foward but out of nowhere he guns it. I took that as my que and let all 16psi I was running at the time put this car too shame, which it did. I couldn't really even see him anymore. I slow down to let him catch up...give him a nice wave and made a u-turn back towards the house. I started zoning out a little(since it was 2 in the morning) and not really paying attention. When out of nowhere I see a cop hauling ass towards the stopsign I had just made a u-turn at. I freaked out. I floored it and shut off all the lights(there were street lights so I could still somewhat see). I looked in the rear view and he litteraly drifted around the corner towards me. By this time we were about 1/4 mile inbetween eachother. I ran through the next stopsign and took every single backroad I could think of to get home. I got home pulled in the garage and shut off the garage light. I listened by the window and could still hear the bastard driving around looking for me. The next day I ended up selling the car and buying a new one (SRT:icon16: ). Almost everyday now I see that cop patrolling the area.

Well despite that being a good story, I would suggest not posting about outrunning the cops. While the odds are highly against it, people have gotten busted by posting too many specifics. Just my .02

Good kill, and congratulations on out running the cop. I've only done that a few times. I would say pull over, but in California they now do far more then impound your car, they destroy it in front of you. So basically i've become anti-police as far as racing is concerned.

^^^^ I have to agree with you there.......just too much racer profiling bull shit going on....over here where im from the local PD has a unit that just posts up on a main road and pulls over any lowered or modified looking car to go over there mods and what not.........its just gotten rediculous...

Well the main reason for the profiling is the stupid squid ricers that race at every red light they can find...now the racers that actually give a damn are smart about when, where, and to what lengths they will race...i like beating a guys ass more than anybody..but it is worth the risk of losing my baby OR Having jail time for manslaughter? Hell No Man...but way to outrun the cops i've outrun them usually by hauling ass on an offramp..but that with my bike so it's a little easier...with a car i usually just duck down in and alley or use the same technique as the with the bike...just take the offramp and park behind the nearest gas station...works everytime....but i have a black car that helps a little bit at night (duh)..i remember several times calling my dad to have the garage door open for me...haha good times...quite the night for ya man...watch out for those coppers..

I really hate whoever is responsible for closing down all the tracks. So far the tracks that are rumored to be shut down, or are shut down are:
Carlsbad - shut down
Pomona - rumored to close
LACR - will shut down in 2 years
Irwindale - will shut down, no date set yet
That doesn't leave alot of tracks to race at. Stupid ass popo's tell people to keep it off the street, and go to the track, but then the city is shutting down tracks, so what other options do gearheads have????

that is awesome story, a TSI around here keeps getting matched by a spec-v that talks a lot of trash. its really funny.
